15/11/2008  Charnock squandered a 3-0 first half lead to only draw at home to Dalton United. The Charnock goals came from Liam Hayton and two from Andy Roberts.  Match Report
13/11/2008  Saturday's squad for the home game to Dalton United shows two changes from last week. Alex Randall returns but Chris Bennett and Lee Pennington are unavailable so Manager Andy Westwell will go with only 3 substitutes. 
08/11/2008  Despite having the balance of the play Charnock failed to breach the home defence. Charnock hit the woodwork four times and had a goal in the second half disallowed for offside. A couple of minutes later Euxton broke away to score what turned out to be the winning goal.  Match Report
01/11/2008  Sanderson and Dalton from the penalty spot gave Charnock a 2-0 lead at the interval. It was 3-0 with a Randall thunderbolt before Eagley pulled two goals back. Hayton made it four in the closing stages.  Match Report

22/10/2008  Dates of the Goldline Semi-Finals have been announced. Euxton Villa v Stoneclough Monday 1st December. Atherton LR v Charnock Richard Wednesday 10th December. Both games at Victory Park, Chorley F.C. Kick off 7.30pm. 
20/10/2008  Harold Heaton wins National Award. The LFA have today (Monday) informed the club that Harold Heaton, our Grounds Supervisor, has won "The FA National Groundsman of the Year" for clubs at Step 7 level. Arrangements are in hand for Harold to receive his certificate at half time in the Premier League game between Wigan Athletic and Aston Villa at the JJB Stadium on Sunday 26th October. 
18/10/2008  Charnock's away game at Vickerstown CC has been postponed today due to a waterlogged pitch.
