Charnock Richard FC are pleased to announce that Ryan Donnellan has been appointed as Reserve Team manager for the forthcoming 2017/18 season. Ryan replaces Zed Pearson and Steve Hart who have recently stepped down from their Reserve team management roles at the end of the current season. The club would like to place on record our thanks to Zed and Steve for their achievements for the club over many seasons and we wish them both well in the future.
The club also announces that following the recent resignation of Academy manager Karl Colman, the club will be discontinuing with the Academy team from the start of next season. Once again the club would like to thank Karl for his commitment and dedication in the role over a number of seasons and we wish him well in the future.

||Charnock won 3-2 against St Helens at Prescot Cables ground in their final game of the season to finish as runners up in Division 1. Two goals from Carl Grimshaw and the other from Jon Hession decided the match.
||Charnock drew 1-1 at City of Liverpool a result that virtually ensures automatic promotion to the Premier Division. Litherland REMYCA need to overhaul a 20 goal difference in their last match to grab second place in the table. Matt Davison scored the vital goal.
||Charnock lost 2-1 at Widnes with Matt Davison scoring the goal.
The Reserves won 5-0 at home to Ashton Athletic Pilgrim scored three goals and Sheehan and Whittle the other two.
