||Senior Football Section ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING.
Monday, 28th May, 2018, in the club, 7.30pm start.
Everybody welcome. Included on the agenda will be a review and reports on the season just finished, and also how the senior section and Charnock Richard teams will be run next season. Any items for discussion should be sent in writing (or via e-mail) to Secretary Dave Rowland prior to the meeting.
||In their final match of the season Charnock lost 5-3 at West Didsbury and Chorlton but despite the defeat they finished in sixth place in the league table. Carl Grimshaw, Mark Woods and Harvey Close scored the goals.
||Following a 0-0 draw at Lostock St Gerards in their final game of the season, the Reserves completed their league season to finish in a creditable 4th position in the league table, as well as winning the Division Challenge Cup. Congratulations to all concerned in their first season in Division 2 of the West Lancashire Football League.
||Charnock Richard beat AFC Liverpool 2-1 at the Marine Travel Arena with two goals from Carl Grimshaw. The second goal was his 50th of the season.
||Charnock Richard beat Hanley Town 3-0 at Mossie Park with goals from Carl Grimshaw, Ross O'Farrell and Tyler Rufus.
The Reserves lost 1-0 away at Millom.
||Charnock Richard win 2-0 at Irlam. Goals from James Walker and Jordyn Fitton.
||Charnock lose 2-1 to 1874 Northwich at The St Luke's Barton Stadium. Carl Grimshaw scored the goal.
The Reserves win 4-3 at home to Walney Island. John Sanderson 2, Christian Hurst and Lewis Pilgrim score the goals.
The Academy, in their final game of the season, lose 2-1 at Springfields.
