09/06/2009  Just a reminder that the Senior Football Section Player's Presentation Night is on this coming Saturday. Plenty of awards, some special guests, a disco and a buffet. It's all free and starts in the clubhouse at 7.30pm.
31/05/2009  The coming season will again see the Club charging 1.50 admission for first team home games. As last season the admission price includes entry into the raffle.
This season we are offering season tickets at 25 for all home games which includes all the pre-season games (5), 15 league games and any home ties in the Lancashire Shield and Richardson Cup. This is an impressive cost saving!
A programme subscription for next season will again cost 15 but this does not include any pre-season games, just League, Shield and Cup games. If the club qualify for the Goldline Quarter Finals with an home game this programme will be included in the subscription. Contact Keith Reader for both these offers.
29/05/2009  Besides the Goldline Trophy games, two further pre season friendly fixtures have been arranged, both at Charnock, against Unibond League opposition.
Saturday, 11th July, v Clitheroe, kick off 3pm

02/05/2009  Charnock Richard are Champions! Wren Rovers could only manage a 1-1 draw at Stoneclough. The home team took the lead in the first minute and although Wren had most of the game they only equalised early in the second half. Stoneclough hung on gamely and the turning point in the game was when a Wren shot hit the inside of a post and the ball rebounded out.
Charnock Richard finished the season with 66 points. Wren Rovers, with one game to play now only have 61 points.
