Due to the dark evenings closing in this coming Saturday's home game against Garstang will kick off at 2-30pm. This is for one week only as the starting times for games in the months of November, December and January will be 2pm. Cup games will start half an hour earlier at 1-30pm.

Two goals from second half substitute Carl Grimshaw, a James Price header and an own goal give Charnock a decisive victory over Atherton Collieries in the quarter final of the Goldline Trophy.

A Jimmy King free kick and a goal from Alex Randell gave Charnock a 2-1 half time lead. Randell added another goal in the second half to give Charnock a 3-1 victory that moves them back to the top of the table.

Charnock were comfortable 3-2 winners in this Richardson Cup Preliminary Round. Alex Randell with two goals and Mark Kerr put Charnock three goals up before Haslingden St Mary's scored two goals in added time at the end of the game.

Charnock were second best in this local derby until at 2-0 down to Euxton Villa an Alex Randell penalty saw them take charge and after Jimmy King equalised they almost won the game in the final minutes.

Euxton are still awaiting a decision from the LFA regarding their postponed Lancashire Amateur Shield 2nd Round tie. Until this has been made Saturdays league fixture against Euxton Villa is still on. Further information will be posted as soon as it is known.

Charnock crashed out of the Lancs Amateur Shield following a 3-0 defeat at Haslingden St. Mary's. Despite dominating most of the play, Charnock failed to take a number of good chances throughout the match and two goalkeeping errors in the final few minutes gifted the game to Haslingden.
