   Andy Westwell (Manager)
Played for Chorley and Horwich RMI before joining Charnock in the 1995/96 season. Was a member of the side that won the West Lancashire League First Division title (Now the Premier Division) in 1997/98. After 129 appearances and 4 goals he retired in 1999 and joined Nigel Simmonds, as his assistant, at the now defunct Leyland Motors. Andy returned to Charnock in March 2001 as manager and has led the team to the most successful spell in the clubs history.

   Dave Haslam (Assistant Manager)
Dave has many seasons experience in semi-professional football with Chorley, Leyland Motors and Horwich RMI. Joined Charnock at the start of the 2004/05 season and his knowledge of local football has assisted manager Andy Westwell in assembling the present squad that has enjoyed so much success over recent seasons.

   Andy Pendlebury (Coach)
Andy signed for Charnock Richard at the start of the 2010-11 season having previously been with Turton and Salford City. Quickly established himself in the squad but his first season at the club was affected by a hamstring injury. Andy played a prominent part in the club’s West Lancashire League championship winning campaign in 2011-12. He made his Charnock debut on the 27th July 2010 at Mossie Park in the Goldline Trophy. Andy joined the backroom staff as a first team coach in the summer of 2013.

   Adam Halton (Goalkeeper)
Adam started his footballing career as a junior with Mid Lancashire side Appley Bridge where he spent 4 years. Joined the youth set up at North West Counties League outfit Ashton Athletic where he enjoyed a 2 year stint before joining Northern Premier League side Warrington Town in 2014-15. Adam then wore his gloves for West Lancashire League side Burscough Richmond in 2015-16 before joining the ranks at Mossie Park in the summer of 2016. Made his Charnock Richard debut on the first day of term on the 6th August 2016 in the North West Counties League 1st Division; the clubs first ever outing in the competition.

   Chris Cheetham (Goalkeeper)
Experienced goalkeeper Chris came through the Everton academy before gaining a football scholarship at Bradford City. The 6 foot 2 goalie, like many academy players he has since worked his way through the non-league pyramid. The stopper notably spent several seasons at Northern Premier League side Radcliffe Borough. Chris has spent time with other Northern Premier League clubs including Ashton United, Burscough, Lancaster City, Nantwich Town and Skelmersdale United. He was also with North West Counties League side Atherton Laburnum Rovers. His 2016-17 campaign finished strongly, however, as he was signed by National League side Southport. Chris featured in their final 6 games and impressively kept a clean sheet against now League Two side Forrest Green Rovers. Chris is a qualified goalkeeping coach. He signed for Charnock Richard at the end of August 2018 on a duel registration after signing on NPL forms for Skelmersdale United. Chris made his debut for ‘The Villagers’ on Bank Holiday Monday the 27th August 2018 in the North West Counties League Premier Division at Mossie Park against West Yorkshire side Silsden.

Ashley joined the ranks at Mossie Park in early January 2014 from Eagley. He made his Charnock Richard debut at Euxton Villa in the Premier Division on the 11th January 2014 and went on to make a big contribution to the West Lancashire League title winning side in the 2013-14 campaign. He left to join Padiham in September 2014. Then joined Coppull United for the 2015-16 campaign before rejoining the ranks at the beginning of the 2016-17 season.

   Jack Sanders (Defender)
Jack was at West Lancashire League side Ladybridge before joining Charnock Richard towards the end of the 2016-17 season making 3 substitute appearances. He made his full debut for the club on the 15th August 2017 at Mossie Park in the North West Counties League Premier Division against Padiham in a 4-1 win. Left for a short spell with Padiham in January 2018 but returned to Mossie Park at the start of the 2018-19 campaign.

   Harvey Close (Defender)
Signed for Charnock Richard from Sandbach United in December 2017 and made his full debut for the Mossie Park club on the 19th December at the Anchor Ground against AFC Darwen in the North West Counties League Premier Division. Harvey started with the Myrescough College cat/1 side before joining AFC Fylde for a season from whence he enjoyed a short spell with North West Counties League side Bacup Borough. He then moved to Cheshire side Sandbach United.

Ross was a regular member of the successful reserve side that won the West Lancashire League Reserves Division One championship and Houston Cup in 2013-14 before establishing himself in the first team the following season. Ross made his debut for the first team on the 17th August 2013 in the Premier Division of the West Lancashire League at Mossie Park against Fleetwood Hesketh.

Spencer is following in his father’s footsteps at Charnock Richard and has come through the junior set up at Mossie Park. He is a young skilful player with great prospects. He represented the Lancashire County FA at youth level. Spencer made his Charnock Richard debut at Mossie Park on the 29th September 2012 against Fulwood Amateurs in the Premier Division of the West Lancashire League.

   Ryan Schofield (Defender)
In his second spell at Mossie Park. Ryan spent four years on schoolboy forms with Manchester City before joining the youth set up at Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2011-12. He won a winners medal in a youth tournament in Holland in 2012 during his two seasons with the Midlands club before joining Charnock Richard for the first time at the start of the 2013-14 season on his release from Molineux. Ryan made his debut for the Villagers on the 21st August 2013 in the Premier Division of the West Lancashire League at the Barden Sports Ground against Burnley United and scored his first goal for the club in Charnock’s local derby victory over near neighbours Coppull United at Blainscough Park on the 31st August. He left to join Northern Premier League side Northwich Victoria before the end of the season and later had a short spell at Burscough.

Jake joined Charnock Richard in the summer of 2018 after a three year spell with Squires Gate. Jake represented the Lancashire FA at school level where he won a national competition. On leaving school he signed for AFC Fylde and represented the Lancashire FA at Youth level and once again won a national competition with the County side. After two seasons with the ‘Coasters’ the Preston born player joined North West Counties League Premier Division outfit Squires Gate. Jake made his debut for Charnock Richard on the 11th August 2018 in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round at the Litherland Sports Stadium against Litherland Remyca.

   James Walker (Defender)
James started his football education in the junior ranks; first with Tarleton Corinthians and then with Penwortham Town. He graduated into senior football with North West Counties League side AFC Blackpool in the 2010-11 season where he stayed for three years. James left the Mechanics Ground in 2013-14 and threw in his lot with Clitheroe where he was to enjoy a three and a half year stint with the Shawbridge club before signing for Padiham in February 2017. James then transferred to Charnock Richard at the beginning of October 2017.

   Alex Ralph (Midfield)
Alex arrived at Mossie Park at Christmas 2017 from AFC Darwen and made his Charnock Richard debut at Abbey Hey in the North West Counties League Premier Division on the 6th January 2018. The Blackburn man started his senior football with Northern Premier League side Kendal Town before joining Clitheroe where he had two spells; his first lasting two seasons before he joined Australian side Olympic from Tasmania where he remained for twelve months. Alex then returned to Shawbridge before moved on to AFC Darwen where he stayed for a season and a half.

   Alex Dodd (Midfield)
Alex is a former Charnock Richard junior player who joined the youth set-up at Fleetwood Town. He returned to Mossie Park on loan in March 2018 but on his release from Highbury Avenue in the following summer, he signed for Charnock at the start of the 2018-19 season. Alex made his first team debut for the club on the 19th April 2018 at Mossie Park in the North West Counties League Premier Division against Congleton Town.

Former Charnock junior, Danny returned to the Mossie Park fold from Ashton Athletic at the beginning of the 2018-19 season. Danny left to join North West Counties League side Atherton Laburnum Rovers and stayed with the Crilly Park club for a season before a five season spell at Brocstedes Park with Ashton Athletic. He made his debut for Charnock Richard on the 4th August 2018 at Mossie Park in a 2-0 win over Barnoldswick Town in the North West Counties League Premier Division.

   Nathan Fairhurst (Midfield)
Nathan is a midfielder who spent his early days in the game with Preston North End and Wrexham. Nathan was Born and raised in Chorley. He is a former Deepdale apprentice who made a permanent move to Wrexham in the Conference National Division in August 2009 following a successful loan spell the season before. First team chances were limited at the Racecourse Ground and Nathan joined his home town side Chorley following the club receiving international clearance in late August 2010. He was released from Victory Park in mid October 2011 after making 41 appearances for the ‘Magpies’, scoring once. On the 5th November Nathan joined Northern Premier League outfit Kendal Town Signed by Coppull United in 2013-14 and spent three seasons at Blainscough Park before joining Charnock Richard in the summer of 2016.

   Mark Woods (Midfield)
Mark started his career at Blackburn Rovers as a 16 year old before moving on the Conference side Morecambe. He left the Shrimps after twelve months due to work commitments but on his return to the game he joined Preston & District League outfit Leyland Red Rose. Mark was with the club when it amalgamated with Leyland in the summer of 2011 to form Leyland United. He won a Preston & District League Premier Division championship winners medal in 2011-12 and remained with United in their first ever campaign in the West Lancashire League. Mark joined the ranks at Mossie Park in the summer of 2013. Mark took over as skipper following the retirement of club legend, Andy Roberts, at the end of the 2014-15 season. He then spent a season at Longridge Town before returning to Mossie Park for the start of the 2017-18 season. Mark made his Charnock Richard debut on the 27th July 2013 at Mossie Park against Eagley in the West Lancashire League Wilf Carr Memorial Trophy between the League champions and Richardson Cup winners.

   Troy Carsley (Midfield)
Troy started his football career in the Mid Lancashire League with Hoole United where he enjoyed a four year stint before joining West Lancashire League side Lostock St Gerards in 2013-14. Troy Left the Wateringpool Lane side at the start of the 2015-16 campaign to join fellow West Lancashire League outfit Longridge Town in 2015-16. He then joined another West Lancashire League side, Fulwood Amateurs in 2017-18 before joining Charnock Richard in October 2018. He made his full debut for the Mossie Park side at Winsford United on the 6th October 2018 in the Premier Division of the North West Counties League where he helped his new side to an impressive 4-0 success at Barton Stadium.

Blackburn lad Callum joined the ranks at Mossie Park at the start of the 2018-19 season following a four year stint with the Charnock’s near neighbours Chorley.

   Joe Noblet (Midfield)
Joe learned his footballing trade with Blackpool as a youngster before joining National League North side Stockport County in 2014-15. He stayed in the National League North with Bradford Park Avenue in 2016-17 as well as having a duel registration with North West Counties League side Squires Gate. Joe joined Charnock Richard in the summer of 2017 making his debut for the Mossie Park side on the first day of term on the 5th August in the FA Cup Extra-Preliminary Round against Penistone Church. However, he did play his first game for the club in a pre-season friendly at Buckley Town in North Wales in mid-July, scoring two goals in a 4-0 win for Charnock over their Flintshire hosts.

   Matt Davison (Midfield)
Matt joined Charnock Richard towards the end of the 2016-17 campaign from Daisy Hill. Strangely enough, Matt made his debut for the Mossie Park outfit at Daisy Hill on the 25th February 2017 scoring against his former team mates in a 7-0 Charnock win in Division 1 of the North West Counties League at New Sirs.

Recruited from Eagley where he had been a favourite for several seasons. A big strong lad and a prolific goal scorer who has added extra fire power to the attack. Charnock Richard’s leading marksman once again this season. Carl scored on his Charnock Richard debut at Mossie Park in the Goldline Trophy on the 21st July 2009 against Manchester League side Hindsford. Carl won the North West Counties League Division 1‘Golden Boot Award’ in 2016-17 when scoring 45 goals in Charnock Richard’s first season at Step 6 of the National League System and repeated the feat the following season in the Premier Division scoring 51.

   Oliver Oxley (Midfield/Striker)
Oliver was signed from West Lancashire League side Lostock St Gerard’s, his only previous club in February 2018. He was with the Wateringpool Lane side for a season and a half. Oxley impressed at Mossie Park during the 2018 summer pre-season fixtures scoring two goals against Northern Premier League opponents. Following a couple of substitute appearances Oliver made his full debut for the club on the 18th August 2018 at Mossie Park in the North West Counties League Premier Division against Hanley Town.

Prolific goal-scorer wherever he has been, the Withington-born hit man has played in the Europa League with Bangor City and can count Hyde United, Halifax Town, Aberystwyth Town, Vauxhall Motors, Ramsbottom United, Trafford, Curzon Ashton, New Mills, Witton Albion, Rhyl and Daisy Hill among his former clubs. Ashley joined Charnock Richard at the start of the 2018-19 season and made his debut for the club on the first day of term on the 4th August 2018 at Mossie Park in a 2-0 win over Barnoldswick Town in the Premier Division of the North West Counties League.

Tyler joined Charnock Richard on a duel registration whilst with National League North local rivals, Chorley, in March 2018. He continued with the Mossie Park club on a single registration the following season. Tyler made his Charnock Richard debut on the 26th March 2018 at Winsford United in the North West Counties League Premier Division, scoring in the 68th minute on his debut in a 1-1 draw.

Experienced striker, Ashley, returned to the club at the start of the 2018-19 season following a spell at Longridge Town. He was previously with local rivals Euxton Villa but left to join Longridge Town in October 2015. In his first spell at Mossie Park he signed for Charnock Richard at the start of the 2011-12 campaign from Leyland United before returning to the Centurion Way club for a short spell before joining Euxton Villa. Ashley made his debut for Charnock Richard on the first day of term on the 6th August 2011 in the West Lancashire League Premier Division at Wateringpool Lane against Lostock St Gerard’s.

   Patrik Bibby (Striker)
Like his brother Spencer, Patrik came through the ranks at Mossie Park and was a prolific marksman in the junior, academy and reserve sides. Amazingly, Patrik has been with the club since he was seven years old and, starting with the under 8’s side, he finished as leading goalscorer at every level. Indeed, he finished with 11 goals in his first full season with the reserve side in 2014-15, finishing just one goal behind eventual leading marksman Ryan Donnellan. He represented the Lancashire County FA under 18’s side in both 2013-14 and 2014-15. Pat made his first team debut on the 15th August 2015 at Mossie Park in the West Lancashire League Premier Division scoring two goals in a 7-0 win over Lostock St Gerard’s.

Mark is no stranger to Charnock Richard and came through the junior ranks at Mossie Close before joining North West Counties League side Atherton Laburnum Rovers where he spent a couple of seasons before moving to Atherton Collieries in September 2014. He was a member of the ‘Colls’ North West Counties League First Division championship side in 2014-15. Mark rejoined Charnock Richard in September 2015 and made his debut for the club against Blackpool Wren Rovers in the West Lancashire League Premier Division on the 29th September at Mossie Park. Mark scored his first goal for the club against local rivals Coppull United on the 1st September 2015 at Mossie Park in the Premier Division.

Jon arrived at Charnock Richard from Northern Premier League side Clitheroe in December 2016 and scored in his first game for the Villagers when coming on as a substitute in the 5-0 victory at Park Hall Stadium against FC Oswestry Town in the North West Counties League Division 1 on the 17th December 2016. John made his full debut for Charnock on the Boxing Day 2016 at Mossie Park against AFC Blackpool in the North West Counties League Division 1. He previously played for Nelson.
